Date Range in Service Portal

How do I include date range in Service Portal?

I have a custom widget for "cmdb_ci_outage" table. I want to include a search using the date. It should be in the range of three months.

Not sure how to do this. Any suggestions?

I am interested in something like this: https://www.daterangepicker.com/#example4
But not sure how to incorporate this to my widget.

Appreciate your help, but all the links provided use date pickers. I am looking for a month's range. I did some research but could not find any.
