Hi Everyone,

If we change the default admin password in our instance what is the impact

1. Is is good to change password of default admin which is created in ServiceNow by default ?

2. Do we have any jobs or configurations that uses admin credentials by default?

3. If we change the password, do we face any issues on the instance ?

4.  Do we have any impact on mid servers or else system upgrades?

I want to understand this better what is the use of this account and what happen if we disable this as well.

Thanks!!

I believe it is common to set/change the password for the 'admin' account. Only those users/services that log in using that user will have to use the value. Many jobs run as 'admin' but the account password does not affect those.
