What related records are deleted when a change request is deleted? What controls this?
It seems that when a change request is deleted on our instance, change tasks are not deleted but are orphaned. This doesn't seem to be the case OOB; i.e., I confirmed that change tasks are not orphaned when a change request is deleted on my PDI. It appears to have been happening for quite a while since I see orphan change tasks as far back as 2017. I compared the Delete UI Action on our instance to my PDI and they appear to be the same.
On the delete confirmation popup, change tasks are not listed under automatic deletion of related records. My guess is that it is something that was customized here but I am not sure where to look. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check the 'Reference cascade rule' defined on the 'change_request' field on the 'change_task' record. It is set to "Delete" in my PDI. Meaning any change_task record that references a change_request that is deleted will also be deleted. It may be different on your affected instance.
