Deleting a table and recreating it

In our team instance, we've deleted a table and tried recreating it with the same exact name, but am running into an error message saying that the table still exists.   The old table is definitely gone so we're a bit confused why we keep receiving that error message.   Any thoughts?

Here is link to main Hi site page. Support numbers are at bottom.

If the fields from the deleted table exist, then I'm almost sure that's the issue. If you have a HI account, you can log in to http://hi.service-now.com/ and create an incident on behalf of your client.

Your client must've created one for you. If not, please contact your Company's ServiceNow Admin to either open the request for you via HI or grant you privileges to open requests in HI customer portal yourself.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. The error leads me to believe that the instance is still seeing the name somewhere. All I can think of from here is:

1. Make sure no person has any browser loaded with anything from that table.

2. Might be worth clearing browser cache as well.

3. There may be some caveat if the table was extended from another table or another table extends from it.

Basically, any record that has some reference to that table could flag the system to think it is still there.

Also, I am assuming you did it in the order mentioned in this article? Or are you using a earlier version than Helsinki?
