Hi there, I want to delete a field from a table. It is a custom field. What is the correct way to remove it from the table and what is the difference between "mark for deletion" and "delete from column"? I have not been able to find any info on this online?

Hi ServiceLater,

"Mark for Deletion" will mark the column that is to be deleted. It will turn the "X" mark to grey and column information will be crossed out.

Clicking on the "Delete" button will actually delete the column.

For example below, columns "Current Date" and "date" are marked for deletion. Clicking on the "Delete" button will actually delete these columns from the table.

Hi,

You can delete a column by clicking on Delete.

Mark for deletion can be used for deleting multiple columns
