Discovery - MAC address is is not populating for the server but is for the network adapter. Why?

Running Discovery on some virtual servers in our datacenter.  When doing a scan "MAC address" is not populating on the top of the form.

But the MAC address is populated down at the bottom in the Network Adapters.  Why is it not populating in the top MAC address field?  On some of the virtual servers the MAC Address is populating in both locations on the form (same MAC address). What would cause this to happen on 1 CI but not on another CI?

Have you mapped this windows server MAC Address field to source table Mac address field on integration hub or any other area. Then it will populate this MAC address.

 

For example: you have mentioned "Network Adapters". you can go to transform map or robust transform map and see which field is mapped to MAC Address field on Network Adapters. same way you can map it on windows server table.
