Do we need to handle localization (zt, pb, etc.) when changing label in a child table?

Hi Team,
I have a question regarding label updates in ServiceNow.
If we change the label (column label / field label) in a child table, do we also need to explicitly take care of other language translations (like zt, pb, it,es)?
- Will the label automatically reflect across languages?
- Or do we need to manually update entries in the sys_translated_text / localization tables?
- Are there any best practices to ensure consistency across multilingual instances?
Appreciate any guidance or experiences you can share.
