Does family upgrade skip plugin upgrade if it is on latest version?

Hi,

we are planning to upgrade our instance to washington and there is a plugin that is on latest version but Washington release has older version compare to plugin latest version. Will instance upgrade skip the plugin or it will downgrade to what ever release has for the plugin?

It will auto-upgrade.

current installed plugin version - 1.4
