Does Hardware Asset Management integrate with Field Service Management in any way?

 

Hi community colleagues.

 

Does Hardware Asset Management integrate / work with Field Service Management or they have to be used as stand alone modules with separate processes/tasks/tables etc ?

 

We are working with a client who is currently using Field Services Management and some of the field technicians deliver kit in the field using work orders/work order tasks etc.

 

The client wants to start using Hardware Asset Management pro to manage all assets/hardware in the estate and is wondering does there need to be an integration between HAM and FSM for the two modules to work together?

 

Or does HAM have to be used completely separate to FSM?

 

I would appreciate any help/feedback from any of your experience in this regards.

Hi @WazzaJC ,

 

No, HAM is not related to FSM. FSM works with CSM.

HAM have their own workflow which come under ITOM module.

HAM offer full tracking of assets right from Born to Disposal including financial data.
