dropdown value not setting post saving record

Hi All,

 I am facing an issue where option is not setting post saving the record, in xml record it is showing but in ui view it is setting as none,

there running ui policy where on loading the form it should set the field as none, if i am explicitly checking if record is not new then it is setting next option in ui not the backend selected one.

then it means some script is clearing that value when form loads

what debugging did you do?

Please check whether any client scripts or business rules are causing the issue.

You are on the right track, look at the client side scripts (UI policies/Client scripts), it could be any other script that might be impacting.

if i move clear options and add options code in UI policy inside the if block thats checking if new record , then saved record is having expected value but all dropdown is not controlled
