Dynamically populate field based on another field

Hi, I have a question which has probably easy solution but I was not able to make it works.

I added a new field "u_ci_class" on a incident table and this field is reference field from table "cmdb_ci". I want to make this field dynamically populated with the appropriate value from the "cmdb_ci" table once I select value for field Configuration Item ("cmdb_ci") which is by default present on incident table. These two fields are connected and each configuration item has own class so what is the right way to make it works? Check the attachment where you can see my form view and the value I want to get from "cmdb_ci" table. Thank you.
