Edit OOB field updated field format

Hi all,

How can I change the display format of the OOB "Updated" field in ServiceNow from YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS to a format like Aug 9, 2026?

You cannot change it for one user only. It will be coming from user preferences or a property-level setting, which will apply globally when changed.

I agree with what Atul mentioned here.

If you make property change then it will impact all users, not recommended

Instead ask your user to update the date format from user preferences, but only limited formats are available and you can't add any new there
