Element type not editable

From a list view, I am attempting to edit the roles for several published KB articles, but receive an error that it is not editable from a list.  I went to UI Properties and user_roles is not listed as an element type that cannot be edited.  Any thoughts on how I can do this.  I really don't want to open up each KB article.  Thanks!

Try creating ACL of type list_edit for Knowledge base field of on the necessary table.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I don't see a type of 'list_edit'

Type would be record, while the Operation would be list_edit.
