Email not triggering to external DLs.

Email Notification is not triggering to external Distribution List. Showing error like recipient address rejected: Domain not found. But when in sending test email from outlook to these DLs, its working fine. Only getting this error when triggering email notification from ServiceNow side.

Is there any email property where we have to add this DL to work it properly.

Hi @Chandan Sharma1 ,

 

In order to send email from  any third party tool you need to allow this DL for external use from your email exchange server. Seek help from your email exchange team to make those changes.

So, we don't have to configure any thing from ServiceNow side. Just have to configure Allow email from in outlook or any other third party tool?

No configuration required from ServiceNow end side. You just need to tell the person who handle email exchange server to make this adjustment.
