Email Notification for catalog item

Hi All,

There is a 1 common mail for most of the catalog, in one catalog need to add few person based on two question (user1Q and user 2Q).
Based on the name selected in theses two question, we need to send a mail for the catalog.
Cant change the existing email notification as it will change for all.

Can anyone please let me know the possible way and script if req.

Firstly check how the email is being triggered.

If it is through event then we can try to add those users via script.
