The Edit button on the Related List (Child Incidents) on the incident form is not visible, only the New button is available.
I validated and found that the list control has the option "Omit edit button" unchecked.
What are the other ways to add the Edit button ?

Hi All,
Sorry for coming back a bit late on this. I finally managed to resolve this issue. If the Edit button is not visible for any reason, there is a button on the control list form called Enable Edit. After you click this button, the Edit button on the related list becomes visible.

Please check it in List Control table.
1. Navigate to > sys_ui_list_control,list and search for your table(i.e incident) and search the label (i.e child incident).
2. Open it and check if they have any condition for Omit Edit button.
Thanks

What role is looking at this? Is that role also part of the list control (that's missing in your screenshot).

did you check any script written in Omit Edit button script field?
Also did you check that user has write access to the parent_incident field? If not then they won't see the button
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
