Excluding Now Assist from clones to prevent credit consumption

Hi everyone,

I’m relatively new to ServiceNow and I don't really have any experience with Now Assist. Following ServiceNow’s best practices, I understand that we should not clone Now Assist data to non-production instances to avoid unnecessary consumption of Assist credits.

However, I'm having trouble identifying exactly which table (or tables) I need to add to the Exclusion List to ensure that the Now Assist usage isn't duplicated during a system clone. I've searched the documentation but couldn't find a definitive list of tables responsible for this.

Could anyone point me to the specific table names that should be excluded from clones to keep our consumption in check?

Any help or guidance on best practices for cloning instances with Now Assist enabled would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @PaulaO,

could you possibly explain what do you mean "consumption of Assist credit"?

What is your question?

I am not sure that I understand it correctly. If it is related to any subscription, then only the PROD environment is the consumer, what you do in TEST, DEV, QA, UAT, or whatever other env is not counted...
