Expand Service Portal's Report a Problem

I would like to expand the Service Portal's 'Report a Problem' so that it directs to a selection of catalog items which the user can select to report more specific problems. 

 

Right now Report a Problem simply directs to a specific Catalog Item. (see image). 

 

Requests function in the manner I would like to duplicate - leading to a list of catalog items the user can choose from. 

 

I'm assuming I would change the Type field for Report a Problem to Catalog Category and then create a new Catelog Category that only houses the Catalog Items I would need?
