Exposing homepage to snc_external roles users

Hi,

Is it possible to expose a portal page or homepage full of reports to snc_external roled users ? I have tried but it keeps routing the external users to an ess page. I've checked with SNOW support as well and they say it is not possible OOB. Hence, I am looking for a way to maybe customize it ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can expose a portal page to external users, even to users not known in the system.

To do so you need to make sure the page has the extern user role. if you want to make a page public then check the public box.

Note:

you might also need to do it with the widgets on the page.

On this page you can use the report widget.

However:...

the current OOB report widgets will try to link to the normal ui when clicking though. So you will need to create custom report widgets, but it is possible.

Is there a way to expose a homepage though ? For some reason, our external users are being routed to an ess homepage instead of the custom homepage we want them to see. Thank you
