Field Normalization

Hello Everyone,

I had a requirement to normalize the manufacturer name for which i used the concept of Field Normalization.

I created Field normalization and it was normalized, but when i opened the cmdb_ci and grouped by Manufacturer then i found this which is attached below,

This is my created Normaization record below,

Can someone please guide me in this issue?

check your rules in the normalization definition cover all the variations (case-sensitive values like meraki vs Meraki etc

If records were already loaded before you set up normalization, you may need to re-run a data job or trigger reconciliation to clean them up.

Also checkk normalization is scoped to the right field (manufacturer) on the correct class/table.i think normalization is working, but it hasn’t retroactively cleaned everything. Running the job again with complete rules should align them.
