Field values to be visible only to certain user

Hi,

I have some fields in which I want them to be visible to users with certain role. And the rest of them to be visible to everyone. I know this is possible using ACL. But what if I want all fields to be visible to everyone but some of the restricted field values should be hidden or blank. How can this be achieved?

onLoad Client script? But is it got to be secure as ACL?

  • First give the table level ACL and keep the role blank - It will be visible and accessible to all or give the snc_internal role 
  • then for the field write seperate field level acl and give the role which you want

@Prashant Ahire in this case the field itself won't be visible.

But I want something like the field should be visible but empty
