Flow design: Add value in task variable through Flow design

In my catalog item, there is a List collector variable "Mass Folder Selection" which is just to add file folder path to get access. It can add any amount of path.

For each path, there were be individual approvals.

There are two TASK variables. "Mass folder selection" and "Rejected Folder"

The Path which are approved will stay in "Mass folder selection" and the path whose approval was rejected will be added to "rejected folder" variable. And the Task will be created.

Can anyone help me how can I achieve that in Flow design?

I achieved till Parallel approval of each Path. But I don't know how to add value in Task variable.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I follow. Why would you need to create a task if the folder request gets rejected? What needs to be done in that scenario?

Or move the rejected folders from one variable to another. What's the purpose of doing that?
Please clarify.

Task will be created normally. But it should be updated with the information that which folder request is rejected and which folder request is approved. And with this update only one task should be created.

For example, I raised a request to get access to 4 folders:

So accordingly 4 approvals were generated:

Two are approved and 2 are rejected:

Hence task is generated like this:

Rejected folders added to rejected folders variable

and approved folder stayed where it was.

Hope my requirement is clear now?

@Sohini Kar what is the issue that you are facing now?

What value do you want to add to the task variable/?

Thanks
Johnny
