flow designer wait for condition is not working

I have a catalog item where there is a field dec_date which is a date field. I want my flow to wait untill dec_date is greater than or equal to today's date.

I am putting the dec_date as 2024-08-03 00:00:00 and today's date is 2024-07-31 09:23:20. But the flow is not waiting.
