Is there a final date that we will be forced to update our instances? Since New York releases in early Sept., how long do we have before we are forced to upgrade.

Hi,
I think once New york version gets stable then only force upgrade will be done. ServiceNow communicates this by raising a change on HI portal for you. I dont have such date yet.

Hi
On the PDI, you become forced, and will be notified early enough.
Not sure, if that date is already known yet. For prod instances, you will never be FORCED to upgrade, as far as I know. But the support may run out for older releases, meaning, that no new patches will be done for older releases. Ask your servicenow account manager for details.

When we were are Jakarta some time after Madrid came out we were forced to upgrade our instances. When they decide to expire support they will fore an upgrade.
