I was trying to change the color of an UI Action with the good old method of forcing style with a client script when I noticed a new(?) field called the Form Style.
This does exactly that, changing the color of the button to one of those (primary=blue, destructive=red). I looked through the SNOW Docs and did a quick google search and couldn't find any information regarding this feature.
Looking at the options, their values are just the name itself (I was expecting at least some css definition). Anyone has any insights regarding this feature?

It seems like a missed opportunity to let people customize more Form Styles, removing the need for UI macros.

It does, and we're working on that. The challenge is to avoid allowing people to go overboard and turn the UI in to a "ransom note" of colors, fonts, and layout. The focus should be on getting the functionality up and running quickly to solve a problem with the standard forms and lists. If you want high control on the UI, there's Service Portal.

3 yrs later... Is there a way to add additional Form Styles to the list as of Orlando or later? I thought it may be as simple as adding existing Bootstrap options but that didn't have any effect.

Another 2 years later and I've just replicated this to make a green UI action button. Thank you. The problem appears to be that the buttons in the header work fine but the buttons at the bottom of the form (i.e. the same UI actions) are affected. Makes it look weird.

That's the same issue I'm running into. I guess we have to reference the ID instead.
