Get list of users who are in a User Criteria?

I need a good way to generate a list of users who fall into a particular user criteria. I know you can see the reverse of this, like see the different user criteria a user, or group, or location belongs to. Can anyone think of a good way to do this?

For any user criteria which is using groups, departments, scripts, or anything other than the user field, it seems there isn't a quick or easy way to collect this information. There's another post that includes a script to calculate this information, but it runs very slowly (takes about 1 minute to check criteria for 100 users) and mentions that optimization isn't likely.
