Glidelist view for variable in service portal

We want to show a reference variable for the users to select a record from the list of records in service portal. In the native platform when we can set reference attribute to glide_list to show reference field records in a list. Want to have the same list view in the service portal as well. How to achieve this?

Try using Lookup Select box instead of reference type variable.

Portal doesn't support list view for glide list. Please provide more info why list is needed, what is use case and maybe comminity can help to achieve the same in different way.
