Grant access to Easy Import using a role

We have a number of Licensed users who manage a large number of CI's (Mainly our networking guys).  

My understanding is that the Easy Import function is locked down to Admin's, is there anyway I can give this access to someone with a custom role?

This worked for me also in a scoped application. Be sure the user role includes the scoped prefix [x_nnnnn.application.easyimport.user]

Wouldn't this expose Import functionality to all tables who has EasyImport role. Any idea how we can restrict to only table that user has write access to.
