GrayOut\disable Declarative action

I have a declarative action that triggers an API, and I want to prevent duplicate clicks. Is there a way to disable or grey out the declarative action button?

no that's not possible

you will require some hidden field and set that flag whenever it's clicked

Then update the declarative action condition to check this flag
