Group Approval to be sent to a single email address for multiple approvers

Hello Gurus,

I am looking to find out whether it is possible to create a group approval which generates a single email notification that is sent to a group`s email address instead of sending one to each group member... ( Using OUT-OF-BOX Functionality) ?

yes, that makes perfect sense. But what I am after is the number of emails going to a group mail when specified ??

E.g.

Group has 10 members and HAS a group mail specified ( so members will be excluded )

SNOW generates 10 approval records

How many emails go out ? 10 or 1 ???

If there is group email, 1 mail only .... But all the users will still receive the group email .. The email will be from their group email ID and not the personal email ID.

for some reason, i am getting 10 emails for each approver...

Are these emails to individual email ID and not to the group email ID? Unchecked the field "include members"   ?

yes, emails are to individual email ID
