Group by field on Database view report

Hello All,

I got a requirement where I need to create a report using  Task state metric(metric) table and a_resource_task table  I have created  Database view report using two tables and provided access to Team lead users, now users should be able to do group by status and export specific tasks state records.

How to can we do group by on database view report(list) for task state.
