Help in How to create cancel request button on the service portal?

Hi Team ,

I need to add cancel request button on the portal so that when a user click on it, it cancels the REQ Item and go to cancelled state.

NOTE :- I have already seen so many community links , no links were worked out for me , 

Can any one please help me here .
