Help with Data Source.

I have created a Data source to retrieve an xls file via SFTP.

the source is associated with an existing import table and transform map. 

When I try to load the data from the source I get an Error and the log just says DataSource not created, data not loaded.

I have other imports that pick up different files form the same server using the same credentials and they work fine.

What am I missing?

Any tips/advice on how I can troubleshoot the problem?

Hi Mike,

Why are you not using Import/staging table? Load the data there and do some transform if needed.

Hi Willem,

I am importing to an import table. It seems the format of the source file was the issue. The source is an xls (2003) File but was configured for an xlsx file.

The issue is now resolved.
