Help with Reference Qualifier

Hello, 

I have a reference qualifier in a variable that is referencing another variable "sal_code" on the catalog item. It has to show only the records that have that sal code in the u_target_sal field. The reference qualifier I have is not working as expected. Any help would be great!

Thank you for the answers @Mark Roethof  and  @Vrushali Kolte 

It is very weird. If I leave the SAL field blank it will show the Profile IDs that have a blank SAL field but the second I populate the SAL field it wont show the records with that SAL field. It seems almost like a bug to me. The reference qualifier is working when the SAL field is blank but not when it is popluated.
