Hide New Button on Service Operation Workspace while opening stories related tab from All Incidents

We created a many-to-many relationship between Incident and Story table. This allowed us to add Stories to the related list on an Incident record and Incidents to the related list on a Story record. However, when we configured the same related list in the Service Operations Workspace, it displays the "New" button by default, as attached in screenshot. We do not want this new button to be visible on the form.
How can we achieve this?

how did you add that related list in workspace?

did you simply add that in workspace view and it started showing?
