How are fields added on Create template form that comes when you click on Create New Template button

Hello All,

On Incident form when you click on Create New Template button "+", a form is opened.

(you get this button when you toggle Template bar)

My question is simple. From where these fields (highlighted in yellow) gets added or populated in the Template part on this form.

Hi @Yash31 

It's very simple.

As you already created the template on incident table. Now reload the form and click the Toggle Template Bar button.

Now in the bottom of the screen you can actually see the newly created template. Once you click on it those details will be automatically populated.

Thanks, but what I am trying to find is->

1. First go to any incident which has values filled in it. (any existing incident).

2. When you click on Toggle Template Bar you will see a template bar at the bottom of the screen.

3. On this template bar there is a button "+" to create a new template.

4. Now you will see the form that i have attached in my question.

The question is, from where are the field:values populated in template part on this form? (highlighted yellow)

Is it happening through some script. if yes which script?

I have the same question... I'm trying to prevent users from creating a template from a closed change with the change request closure information copied into the new change template.
