How can we set CEA_view as the default view for forms in ServiceNow instead of the current default?

Hello @Ria 

 

How about creating a view rules (System UI > View Rules) on the table you need without any conditions and just provide view name you need. Documentation Link


Below is view rule created for Incident table record.

Now when this is activated the records when open by default it opens in ess view as below:

The form view defaults to CEA_view, but the view options are currently hidden. If a user wishes to revert to the default view, the option to do so is unavailable.

Hello @Ria 

 

It's because the "Views" UI action is not visible in this View. You might need to check the visibility of this ui action and add your custom view to it.

I can't find the view option under UI actions, but it appears when I deactivate the view rules I created to ensure CEA_view is visible by default. Could you please assist me with this? The following views should be visible when the view rules, created to display the CEA view by default, are activated.
