How do I add an image in the Service Portal page?

I am trying to crweate a 404 error page for the Service Portal, and I want to add an image. All the threads that I can find give example HTML code to use. I am competent enmough in HTML coding to use it to do what I want, but I cannot find a way into the HTML editor. Can someone please direct me how to gt to it?

Alternatively, if there is a way to do this without any code involved, that would be useful too, although I also want to turn the image into a link (to the homepage), which might mean thaty the coding is essential.

You put the link to the image, into the HTML Template of a widget:

then add the widget to the page in the portal page designer:
