How do I release my developer instance and request a new one?

How do I downgrade my developer instance from Jakarta to Helsinki or can I release it and request a new one?

I requested Jakarta, looked at it and realized that we need to go back to OOTB on our KB and remove customizations.

Therefore we need to have a fresh OOTB Helsinki instance to compare to.

Hello Cory,

Under the My Instance page, use the "Action" button and select the "Release instance" action. Release instance will release the instance back into the pool of available instances. You would lose you instance and have to request another one.

If you are requesting a new instance you can choose from any of the available versions of instances. More details on this feature are available in this blog post.
