I just upgraded our Dev and QA instance to San Diego and enabled the Next Experience. I would like to set the user preference defaults. For ex, when users go to their user preference for Display, set "Put line breaks in lists" = true. Is there any way to control the defaults as an Admin?

I don't believe there is a way to control user preference defaults - Servicenow sets them globally.

You NAILED IT! Thank you so much!
BTW - unrelated question - when I log into the community site - how do I find this thread? I always have to find the email and click the link.

Thanks!!! Glad it was helpful
on the top right corner click on your name and go to your Now community profile
There you can see things like you 'participated' in and 'activity' and questions you asked everything.
Email and notifications doesn't work for me very well. I always get notified very late so its better to follow your activities from now community profile
