We are trying to create a flow variable within a flow to hold the name of the flow for logging purposes. We can't figure out how to add flow variables to the flow. I am including a screenshot. I see the "plus" button but it doesn't work.

Going to say something very annoying but it works on my instance....
It looks either the flow designer page didnt load correctly or part is blocked.
So Im going to ask you the 'default' Service desk questions:
- Did you close all browsers and reopen them to try again (and no, just closing the flow tab and reopening is not enough)?
- Did you try it with different browsers?
- Did you try it a new flow?

Thanks for your quick reply. I have tried it with three different browsers, and restarted instance, etc. and it still doesn't seem to work. Do you simply press the "plus" button to add flow variables or do you create them somewhere else and import the variables?

Hi,
Posting this since you asked how to create the flow variables (just confirming this is the steps): https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-servicenow-platform/page/administer/flow-designer/task/creat...
Have you been able to create them before?
Can you possibly try doing so on a free personal developer instance to see if it works there?
