How do you create Workspace without App Engine Studio?

We are not licensed with AES. However, I need to configure Agent Workspace to add more reports, PA, and widgets. But It's very limited. I have tried and installed the ITSM Premium landing page and still limited/protected.

So, I need to create my own Workspace so I can build my own landing page. but I can't figure out how to create Workspace from scratch! Can anyone tell me how I'm suppose to create Workspace without AES?

I would absolutely recommend waiting until San Diego and implementing Service Operations Workspace rather than creating your own at this point. You may be able to spin up a San Diego PDI and play with it as well.

As far as creating a workspace without AES, this gives a decent walkthrough although the end use case is a little different: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-now-intelligence/page/use/par-for-workspace/task/create-now-...

Hi Brad,
Our clients ask us to develop a workspace for multiple modules we've implemented for them.

I've recently seen this video and tested it on PDI but we didn't have AES licence on our instance.

Does this course apply to us or do we need AES licence to develop any workspace ?

You do not need an AES license to build a workspace from scratch. AES just makes it much easier to build a custom workspace.

Hello Sam,

please follow this below link which explains how to create a workspace from app engine studio

https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/learn/courses/quebec/app_store_learnv2_bmfaesa_quebec_buil...

But i would suggest do not use legacy workspace if you are already in ROME because we faced difficulties in migrating the legacy workspace to App engine studio where few of the components were not working and we ended up creating new workspace through App engine studio and UI builder from scratch

Please mark my answer correct if it helps you
