Hi,
I am trying to search for code, how release task planned start and end dates are auto populated from release plan stand and end date values. i don't see any business rule. Any help ?

Hi @venkat101 ,
That is correct. It sets a current date and time. As soon as you open the Release Task, the planned start and End date gets autopopulated with the current date and time. This is happening at the dictionary level as mentioned in the above message. Its defined in the OOTB.

I want to remove that and when rm_task record is created start and end date fields should be blank. After you pointed default value, i removed it and tried but system is still autopopulating. Any thoughts why it might be ?

I tried in my PDI and removed the default value. Refer screen shot below. After this when I open a new Release task, the planned start date is blank. Hope you are also seeing the same behavior.

No Luck. still i see populated date.
I see there is field decoration in attributes field "field_decorations=rollup_calc_field_decoration".
