how i can make the requested for variable as mandatory by using requested type

I created one variable called "Requested For" and used the type as Requested for but the requested for type will take the value of logged in user if we are providing the default value as none it taking the requested for value as referencing the user table.as i mentioned that variable as mandatory. But when i am using in ctalog that variable is showing not manditory in the form and storing the value.how i cam overcome this and making that variable as a manditory.

As it is variable, you need to write Catalog UI policy for same. The way you write the native UI policy.

i written the ui policy also but it not showing that field as a mandatory. showing requested for as preview record
