I though in servicenow you needed specific access to the table to create records

Hi @juan9 - The Create Incident catalog item is a record producer, which allows users to create records like incidents without needing specific roles. It works by collecting the user's input and asking the system to create the incident on their behalf, bypassing access restrictions intentionally to ensure a seamless experience for reporting issues.

Hi @juan9

Abraham Lincoln is the end user, and in that case, a user can create an incident via the Service portal or native view as well.

Hi @juan9 ,

When we are creating any user without any role he will be getting ESS role (Employee Self Service) and with this role as an end user - any user can create Incident.  As it is clarified by Sheldon it is a record producer so any end user can use it.
