How long will it take to get an instance?

Hi,
I visited https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do and I wanted to get an instance, however, I am being placed on the waitlist. I have requested for an instance from Utah. I would like to know how long it would take to get an instance, Thank you

I've been waitlisted from Thursday too. It looks like some instances will have to be released to be made available. Please do update here if you get a solution.

Instead of upgrading I released my old instance and requested Utah, and after 1 hr I got the instance.

When you say upgrading, did you mean upgrading the account, i do not have any old instance to release.

Then you just request for an instance with an older release say Tokyo and then ask for an upgradation of the instance.
