How much does ServiceNow subscription cost?

Hello all,

 

I would like to understand and know the "Licensing/subscription" cost of ServiceNow for an organization.

For example: We're using ServiceNow in our organization with 2000 license (Got to know from my management) and we were told that license to be used wisely and not to provide license to all users simply since they've asked.

In our organization License is considered based on a ROLE (which allows write access).

Out of curiosity need to know how much the subscription costs? Pretty sure it's expensive but need exact figure

Will it be Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly?

Will it be different from organization to organization?

Custom tables are licensed?

Hi @Ksnow ,

All of your questions can be answered exactly by ServiceNow Account Executive who has been allocated to your Organization , as they know what Agreements has been agreed Between ServiceNow and Company.

I think it would not be possible for me to contact Executive. However, In general can you please let me know basic info if you are aware.

To provide more info: we are using only ITSM module and 10 Admin accounts.

 

1. How license is counted? based on what?

2. As far as you know will it be counted for 1 user?

3. Wholesome packages if you know

Hi @Ksnow ,

If you're referring to ITSM, then it's normally the "ITIL" role or "Approver User" role as the ones that are billable and accounted for.

You can use the "Subscription Management" section within your left-hand navigation in Production to see your license count usage OR...you can go to "User Administration" and then "Roles" and then look for ITIL and/or Approver User and see how many you have issued.
