but why to use script to add MRVS to task when it can be done easily via OOTB configuration.
You can add MRVS on catalog task from Available to Selected slush bucket in workflow
where are you stuck?
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hi Shalikas
May I ask why you're considering using a script to add the MRVS to the task, when this can be achieved easily.
You can configure the MRVS on a catalog task by simply moving it from the Available to Selected section using the slush bucket in the workflow.
An image has been attached for your reference.
If you find this information helpful, please mark the response as helpful and accept the answer.

Hello @SHALIKAS ,
Not sure I fully got why you're trying to do this with a Run Script—is something not working with the usual variable formatter on the catalog task?
Because ideally, if you've added the variable formatter to the task form, MRVS should show up there just like it does on the RITM.
Could you share a bit more about what exactly you're trying to build? That’ll help get a clearer picture and suggest the best approach.
Please Mark ✅Correct if this solves your query and also mark 👍Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
