Hi ,

I need to add this "Translate" link for itil view on incident form. Currently, it is only available for Default view but not for itil view.

@nayanmule

how is that field configured? I could see it's a URL field.

Did you check by configure field label?

Did you check any script is adding link to that label? if yes then is that script running for particular view only

hello @nayanmule

Root Cause
UI Actions can be restricted to specific form views. If the “View” field on the UI Action is set to “Default view”, it will not appear in ITIL or any other custom views.

Solution: Update the Translate UI Action

Step-by-step Instructions

Locate the Translate UI Action

Navigate to: System Definition > UI Actions

Search for:

Table: Incident

Name or Label: Translate

Tip: You may need to remove filters or search by “translate” keyword.

Open the Translate UI Action Record

Open the UI Action that provides the “Translate” link on the Incident form

Verify it is the correct one by checking:

Table = Incident

Action type = Form link or Form button

Update the View Configuration
In the UI Action form:

Locate the “View” field

You have two supported options:

Option 1 (Recommended)

Clear the View field (leave it empty)

Result:

The Translate link will appear in all views, including Default and ITIL

Option 2

Set the View field to:

itil

Result:

The Translate link will appear only in the ITIL view

Best Practice: Leaving the View field empty ensures consistent behavior across all form views unless there is a specific requirement to restrict it.

Save the UI Action

Click Save or Update

Validate the Change

Open an Incident record

Switch the form view to ITIL

Confirm the “Translate” link is now visible near the description field

Additional Checks (If Still Not Visible)

Ensure the UI Action is Active

Verify user has required roles (for example: itil)

Confirm no Client Scripts or UI Policies are hiding the UI Action in ITIL view
