hi,

can u please help me understand how assessment metric   normalized value are getting calculated

and i know this formula:

Normalized value = (Input Value - Min value defined in metric) / (Max value defined in metric - Min value defined in metric) * current metric weight / (sum of valid metric weight) * scale_factor

1)In This formula what is the meaning of input value and where i should found

2) what is the meaning of current metric weight and sum of valid metric weight(how to calculate this)

please let me know how calculations are done , can u please anyone to explain clearly ...

1)   Input value is whatever the respondent answered with.
You:   Pick a number between 1 and 5

Me:   2
Input value = 2

2)   Assessment metrics have weight, such that some metrics can be more important than others.

Hi Robert ,

Thank You For Your Replay Robert

I understand that 1st answer , thank you for that , but what about 2nd one

Normalized value = (Input Value - Min value defined in metric) / (Max value defined in metric - Min value defined in metric) * current metric weight / (sum of valid metric weight) * scale_factor

In This Formula current metric weight and sum of valid metric weight are there ryt

so How to calculate and how to find which one is the current metric weight and valid metric weight

can u please explain   with example how to take the current metric and valid metric weight values

Thank You ,

Were you able to figure this out for the calculations?

Also what is the "Normalized value" on the metric result and why does this fluctuate despite the same rating being provided?  how can we best utilize this field?

I have seen how its calculated but I still don't really know how you would use this field

What does this filed mean in simple terms
